Hi there, yesterday driving on the road, looked that the temperature of my r53 was at the top with the red light, if i drive slowly is when it goes up very very quick till the max, but when i go trought the road at high rpm it's go down again until the medium, tomorrow hurry i will go to the garage to see what happened, what could be this?
is this comun on mini cooper s?

 

Well yes it happens, check coolant level first. If low, check your thermostat housing or water pump for leaks. Also need to check the Aux fan, make sure it is operating on both high and low speeds.
