Wow.. I'm sorry to say but all of a sudden I really like the current steering wheel now that I see this. It looks too large or too much in-your-face in this picture, maybe in person it would be nice.

Antranik is right, maybe if we had a pick of the whole dash from like the back seat to see how it blends in. I liked it when I first saw it a few months back but it's not worth my changing out my 2 spoke when it gets here.

I don't like it..
The design doesn't really blend well with the rest of the interior, it doesn't look as fluid or integrated as the original.

I’m happy with the one I have. The old style that is.

I second that! (But I do like the fact that changes are being made from year to year).

There not really going through with this crazy change are they. Maybe it's just in Europe (wishful thinking). It seems like MINI is giving in to peer pressure--so much for being unique. That wheel really doesn't suit the interior IMO. I wish they would keep the unique two spoke wheel.

OH! and something else that is of paramount importance!!! The volume/track change buttons look as if they will not be on the back of the wheel! That was my favorite thing about the MFSW. It was sooo cool and unique--I loved telling people my car was voice activated. I'd say something like track 3 and my passenger couldn't see me changing the track . Wow, now I really hate that thing.

<<The New MINI Steering Wheel Well here it is. Back in April we got a sneak peak at it and the reaction was mixed to say the least. I'll be curious to see if opinions have softened a bit>>

This has been on bridger.us/mini for days.

Hey
I like my wheel too. Really, don’t like the new one as much as the one I have. Was just trying to say there is more places to get info than MCO. Like MCO much, but there are other sites that are great, nothing more than that.

Somehow, the 3-spoke makes the interior seem dated feeling. I know the 3-spoke is reminicent of the classic MINI wheel, but it doesn't seem to work quite right in my eye with the MINI. Ergonomically, I very much like the current 2-spoke wheel (especially the new sport style). Naturally I'd like to drive one with this wheel before drawing any actual conclusions

Ryan

I DON"T THINK SO...

Nice try Pebbles, but that's a doctored photo. Look closely everyone and you'll recognize that the buttons are those from the original Playstation controller. Notice the X, O, Square, & Triangle buttons in the right places?

^^^are you serious?!?! How can that be? Are you for sure? The paint of the buttons matched the rest of the silver on the wheel. Can you post a close up picture.
