What does this light mean?

I just bought my mini and it has the factory nav in it. There is a yellow light that is the first one to the left as you are looking at it next to the seatbelt light that will not go off. I have gone through the entire manual and it is not listed under all the instrument lights and what they mean. it almost looks like the abs or brakes light for what says the canadian models except it says no words or exclamation inside the circle..... It is a yellow circle blank in the middle with three small dotted lines outlining the circle on both the left and right side of it. Once again it is blank in the middle so I am wondering what it means?

That's the brake pad warning light. Have your brake pads checked to make sure they haven't worn down.

I wondered the same thing when my brake pad warning light came on. The sensors must be replaced (or fooled) for the light to go off.

Well that is what I meant. Sorry. Such is the case on mine. The pads that I installed (Hawk HPS) didn't support the sensors, so I just have to get new sensors and leave them tucked up in the fender wells.
