The right rear brake lamp appears to be burnt out and I need to replace it.

I've done the searches and can't seem to find a good thread that shows or tells where this is accessed. I looked inside the boot and it's going to be a miracle if I can get my hand inside the teensy weensy (mini, if you will ) panel to get to the bulb.

Is this the way to change the bulb?

You have to pop off the panel in the boot. You can see the taillight in there. You just unclip the wiring from the taillight and pull it out to access the bulbs. It's very easy and doesn't require small hands.

 

Oh, didn't realize you had an '07 and '04. You are talking about the '04 right? If you are, my previous post is right.

Pacing myself, I think I will tackle this task today, betwixt football games, chili, and some beers.

I might be eating chili, drinking beer, and changing the bulb, all at the same time while watching the pigskin.

 

Do you have the rear brake light mod? If so it might be a bad BCM.

 

No, no mod.

I haven't even done this yet...got kinda sidetracked with 10,000 other things to do.
