Door Freezing-HELP!

Ok, so its 630 in the middle of a long snow storm...I have to be to work in 12 hours, and have my car and my boyfriends car out of our lot by 10 am so they can plow and I dont get towed. My doors seem to be frozen shut. The handle buttons are moving, the door is unlocking, but the door isn't budging. I've tried WD-40 and hot water...what can I do? I have an 02 MC...ideas?

ps..have not washed the car in a month, so its not that..

Maybe your car evicted you!

Or, the door is simply frozen shut. Can you get in the other side?

maybe it did evict me..lol..i said that because i didnt want someone saying "did you wash it and water got in"

neither door is working...the driverside was first, climbed over to the passenger side..went back outside a couple hours later to clean some more snow off, and got in through the trunk to try to warm the doors up by running the car....nada

hot water? WD40?! noooo~~ use washer fluid in a large
spray bottle and hit liberally on all the edges of the glass and door
jam.

you'll want to wax your car if WD40 penetrated the paint cause it
will remove it.

WD40 works great in frozen keyholes though.

What you need to do to resolve this issue completely is to take off the inside door panel and spray your door cables with white grease. This doesn't freeze and will enable you to open your doors in the coldest weather.

The problem is that the seals allow air to get between the door and condesation happens. Once you turn off your car that condensation freezes your car door wires and doesn't allow you to open it.

Will your windows roll down, using the key? If they do, Jump in through the window and turn the car on to defrost.

Ok, Re-read the thread, you already got in and turning the car on doesn't seem to work.
