I looked at a lot of other similar posts but had to post something specific.

I have a 2002 MCSc and the local autozone is saying that the Duralast 47-DL is in stock. I read that these don't fit; is that correct?

Also, I know Duralast will work; but it's a base model batt. I'd like to find another higher-grade one that I can pick up today (car is dead in the driveway and needs to be fixed tonight). Can anyone share some information that'll get our Silver Bullet up and running by days end?

Autozone only has Duralast .
Advanced auto has some "Autocraft" brand.


I'd like to find a place that has an Optima in stock. :-/ Hmph.

 

my local advance autos usually carry optimas. if not, they can get them in a day or two froma nearby location

 

If you can wait, you can get an Optima from Summit Racing for a real good price.
