...One of the keys for my '05 MCS is missing the "MINI" round button emblem in the center. It seems to be a "BMW thing", sine one of the keys of the wife's BMW is also missing the BMW center emblem button. Both keys work fine though. Do I have the dealer as my only alternative as well?

So the emblems fell off of the keys? Have you checked your pocket?

The dealer would be your best bet. They might try to sell you new keys because they can't get the emblems seperatly (a good guess on my part).

 

Yep, I already checked my pockets and virtually all the floor around the house.

I guess I'll have to check with the dealer then...

 

It's really nothing more than a 2D-3D domed decal of sorts.....Don't see why Aesthetic Creations can't make them up.

One of my 03' fobs is missig an emblem too. They are purely cosmetic but the black Fob looks like crap w/o it....

 

The MINI ones at least have the little wings on the sides, but the BMW one looks totally plain and different without it.
