The amber strip light that is just at the base of the wheel well on my 04 MCS is broken :(. From the outside all is good but the area where the bulb socket twist into the housing has broken off (previous owner sadly). Is there any place online I can purchase a single one for the left side?

Your "local" MINI dealer might be the best source (money aside) for something like this... Online there should be good sources. MossMini.com is a start. Good luck!
Honestly, go to - and subscribe to - MC2magazine.com - they have listings for all sorts of aftermarket dealers.

 

The only Mini dealer near me is about 2 hours away :(.

I am going to try a local place that sells aftermarket oem replacement parts and see if they chuckle at me.

Mine was also broken. I replaced it myself, the job is easy.
