I hope these all find good homes...those bumper strips do have their charm, and represent that first iteration...less aggressive, full of charm. It will always be very special.

I have kinda an odd combination on mine. I have chilli red, white stripes, red roof, black mirrors and regular non painted wheels. I always see chilli red, white roof, white mirrors, white stripes and white wheels. Or some other variation that is close. I think that is the best thing about these cars though, you can mix and match to make it your own!

I'm restricted from certain websites while at work (darn military websensoring!!) so I can't oblige...but search NAM for the NFR (or night fire red spelled out) support group. It's a GORGEOUS color. But only made in MC, not MCS. Clubbies and hatchback models, yes...MCS... *snif snif* No.

Ah ic... It is almost like a pearlescent darker version of chilli red. Very nice! Too bad the MCS doesn't come in that I bet it would have been/would be a popular choice.

After I win the lottery, my plan is to a.) convince MINI to make NFR in MCS and b.) to start a show garage -- it will include (but is not limited to) MINIs in these jewel-tone colors: my own BRG, NFR (in MCS, as listed in part a), and IB. beeeeuuuutiful.

Certainly on 2nd gens., Nightfire red is one of the most unusual colors.

Goofball!!! That's the nightfire red I was talking about. NFR. It's only made in MC models (clubbies & hatchback)....but it's not made in MCS.

OK, I lied - the pic that AutoXR53 posted is solar red...the NFR is a deeper red color. (I HATE WEBSENSORING!!!)

that'd be a nice color, but i think i personally would even rather have that awesomely kick-*** blue\purple\turquoise pearlescent that you always see TVR's in....like in Swordfish.
