I was able to go up to about 55-60 as I was in the first row out & we seemed to have more room. It got pretty crowded. In fact, when we were waiting to go back in, the line of MC & MCS were getting so backed up that I thought there was going to be a smash up because when you come out of the last turn, you are on an incline & cannot see until you come down. I saw a few MINI's actually have to go over to the left when they came down cause it appeared that they couldn't slow down.

Yeah, that's what they said when the 35th Anniversary Ford Show came to Charlotte Motor Speedway too. I have a pic of my Mustang Cobra going 135 MPH on the speedway. VERY COOL I must say! If I can dig it up, I'll post it up for the masses!

Kool, it was supposed to be a parade lap....but all hell broke loose as MINI owners got bored and started flying and passing each other. I got mine up to 70 on the turns but couldnt push it as it was wet. Was funny though, Dan is right almost caused a pile up and a few people got yelled at by MINI USA. LOL. Originally they said everyone was to drive in a straight line with hazards on, going about 30 MPH. If you were there to light your tires up on the track that woulda made the day Kool.

That was not a MCS, it was a MC with the aero kit.

Thanks Ants for all the great pictures. I really felt bad I couldn't make it, I live just 40 minutes south of Lime Rock. My MCS is at New Country Motors getting the JCW upgrade. Looks like everyone had a great time!

If you don't mind me asking, how much is New Country Motors charging you for the JCW. My dealer wanted $6,000 which included installation. I thought that was too much and decided to pass, and do myown pulley, exhaust and intake. What made you decide to go for the JCW? Do you test drive a JCW?
