been standing still since I ordered my MINI? It's been "awaiting transport" now for four days but seems like forever. Toyed with the idea of having it Fed Xed but I guess that would double my payments. :smile:

 

Hey, if you FedEx your Mini, pay for the shipping with an American Express card. that way you'll get thousands of award miles and you can go on a free vacation!

Maybe you're not really still waiting. The Members Lounge is notoriously late in updating. Have you spoken to ASK-MINI? Have you checked the WW site for arrival at the port? Have you bothered the heck out of John at Roadshow? (Why not, its so much fun to see him agitated.) :smile:

I think we are now able to identify, based on lots of clinical observation, that "patience" and "waiting for a MINI" are in two completely different categories. The wait reduces even the most stable among us to mush. Its no shame...we have, little by little, simply become MINIacs. Actually, the disorientation of waiting provides a very good novitiate into the equally obsessed world of motoring, modding, and detailing. Its all quite natural, you see???

If your car was scheduled to sail on the Tokyo Highway, it left port yesterday or the day before. Scheduled to arrive NY on the 8th or 9th and SC on the 12th.

Perhaps your wait is shorteing as we type....
