I passed on the $300 factory ones but noticed magnetic ones for $69. It seems like a good idea if they stay in place. Also noticed stripes, (I think they were sick-on), from another vendor for $25. Anyone using either of these instad of the overpriced factory ones?

The factory stripes are only $90 installed. That's the official MINIUSA pricing. Who quoted you $300????? What a rip-off!!

Magnetic stripes are a cool idea, poorly executed for 2 reasons:

They will fly off your car at highway speeds

They will smear and damage your clearcoat because the backing material will "Cook" when the sheetmetal gets real hot.


Until they fix those 2 problems, I will not consider magnetic stripes or roof graphics as alternatives to decals.

 

i have seen people using these...be careful at freewy speeds i have heard of them flying off
