I agree that for a car as small as it is the MINI's turning radius is bigger than you would expect. I had a front wheel drive 95 Dodge Intrepid that, I believe, had a smaller turning circle than my MINI.

Yeah, but it was an Intrepid. Did other Intrepid owners wave at you?

(I actually also had an Intrepid, in their version of "Chili Red". Not a bad salesman's car, had a barn for a back seat! Performed decently as well. Sturdy? Not so much.)
