ok this may be a simple question but i cant figure it out. I finally bought the blackjack door handles to match my roof and cant figure out how to take off the inner door skin. I know about the clips and 3 torx screws but the inner handle??

 

Uh, if I remember right when I had to replace the window motor in my MINI there's screws at either end of the handle.

http://www.z50ak1.com/mini/default.htm is a page on replacing the door motor, you may be able to use that to get the door apart and change pieces that way.

note for taking off the handle use a long t handle ball end hex and run it through one of the access holes. it'll help speed up the removal.
