Hello, everyone. This is my first message on the site. I have read all the messages on the previous 59 pages and am impressed by the politeness and knowledge of the contributors - I am now persuaded the Mini is safe, reliable , FUNFUN, will seat four, goes through snow well, and all those good things, and am on the verge of getting one. But there are two things I haven't seen really talked about yet. It used to be that Rolls Royces had small trunks because the servants would send luggage on ahead by train. Well, I don't have servants and I can't afford to buy one car for fun and one for practical use - one car has to do it both. So, is there enough room in a Mini for two people with "loadsa" luggage? Also, can a bike rack be attached to the rear?

Welcome to the pages. You will find that when the seats fold down it stores a lot in the car. I have gone to Tahoe with my wife (5'11&quot my daughter (5 years old and tall) myself (6'0&quot with Renn Faire garb and regular street clothes. No problem, I was also able to keep all the stuff packed nicely so I could see out all the windows and mirror's.

If I could do this with three people and all the stuff to perform at the Renn Faire, you will have enough room for luggage and road trips for 2 adults without any problems.

They sell a bike rack for the MINI (and luggage rack, and ski rack...etc). The only thing that I am thinking of getting extra is the Boot Box, which is compartmentalized. If you want to put one lone thing in the back, it slides alllllllllllll over the place!
