$50 sport tips? That's a sweet deal... I was thinking about getting them, but I figured they might vibrate and cause more rattles in my MINI.

Do you hear vibrating?

They mount the exact same way the beer can tips do. No rattles.

Nice to see someone that's not afraid to put their license plates on the web. ;-)
I can't decide if I like the look of these pipe attachments or the original pipes more. I suppose if the original pipes were crusty and couldn't be shined, then this would be the way to go.

to sum it up, it's the front strut towers mushrooming due to the impact front suspension has to soak up from road bumps.

it will throw off your alignment and so on... and reforcing the top of the strut towers by using one of the strut tower plates (like the set of Cravens I have), it will somehow help prevent the strut tower from deforming.

in order to completely eliminate the problem, it's a good idea to have camber plates along with the plates.

Notice that the tips from Morristown Mini state that they are chrome, not stainless steel so they eventually will rust. Outmotoring has a nice set of stainless steel tips for about $100.

If you put a quantity of "2" in your cart, since these are sold as "ONE set of TWO items", the system will understand that you are ordering 2 sets(totalling 4 tips), that's why the increase in price

Needed some help....

I suppose I could have sprayed them with some penetrating oil of some kind, drove it for a little while to heat them up and tried to remove them then.

But yeah, I have same tips, and painted inside of tips with flat black spray enamel. When I got them inside was painted light gray.....

I'm not dissapointed, I'm just pointing out what the web site says. I'm actually thrilled as I had planned on buying a set in about 2 weeks and now you've saved me some money!!! If they were actually chrome, then they're overpriced. They really ought to clarify or they may lose sales just like they about lost mine.
