My LR speaker is making a crackling sound occasionally. What is strange is it does it whether the radio is on or off. It sounds like a short or something... Anyone else had this problem?

My right rear speaker does this sometimes. I think one of the speaker wires is loose, I just don't want to take the rear panel to figure it out

I get the same problem. The speakers rattle a lot when the radio is on or I have a CD in, but when the car is off they still rattle a little. I guess this is a common problem in MINIs? What do I need to do in order to... "tighten up" (I guess is the best way to put it) my speakers? Or do you think I've blasted one too many Disturbed albums and my speakers are damaged permanently?

I have the H/K speakers, if that changes anything.

 

My problem isn't a rattle, it sounds like a short. I do get a bit of a rattle sometimes in the front speakers, but this is a static sound I am getting. Thanks for the input.
