Just out of curiosity, how much do you usually pay per year for maintenance? This includes everything, oil changes, small part replacements and such. And on that note, how long to the Xenon headlights last? I am not looking forward to replacing them

 

for the last 5yrs, ive paid nothing but one oil change per year which
was $22 for the 5qt jug of Mobil1 and filter for like $11-12. i do have to
pay for cans of 134a each year ($20) since my a/c has a leak somewhere
the dealer can't fix even after 4 attempts.

one coolant flush $100, and one brake flush $100.

im at 25k miles on my 03 and still got like 5k miles to Inspection1.

 

Holy cow, now I don't feel so bad that I'm at 15,000 miles and my car says it's still got 11k to go before the first inspection! I thought the local place I went to for an oil change had reset the interval or something..

 

Yep - the intervals can be quite long. My '06 came up for its first scheduled oil change at 12,500 miles, and the second OBC-scheduled service didn't come due until 33,000 miles.

 

Just CHECK the oil level in between those oil changes! You may find you might need to add some.
