Looks like the word is getting out! A friend of mine just IMed me and told me that he had heard about our petition from a Mazda message board. The people that were talking about it were just as baffled as we are about why BMW is doing what they are doing.

I would link up to it, but it is a yahoo group with about 200 members. My friend said that he was going to post about the petition on the main Protege forum as well....

The point is is that people are really behind us. Not just other MINI owners, but other car owners as well. The petition has only been up a short time and already it's being talked about....

It's being discussed on Miata.net as well. I also emailed my local 'car' section of the paper and emailed Click and Clack of car talk.

 

Good idea...I'm going to send it to a local Miata board...

 

We should try and send this out to all other car forums, or to all other forums out there! Try and get the word out! MINI will have to take notice then.

Anybody see this regarding MINI's marketing strategy? They are looking for non traditional ways to get their name out there.
