I just got my production number yesterday and anxiously went in to the owner's lounge to find out the details. Right now it is scheduled for a 9/26 build. I on't know if I can wait that long, I guess I will have to. Anyway, when I click on the "review order detail" link I notice some things missing. It has the exterior color right and the interior color and material, but that is all it has. I ordered all 3 factory packages, but it is blank where it says "factory ordered options" Is this normal? I just don't want a stupid mistake be the cause of me not getting the Mini I ordered. Thanks in advance.

Common point of much discussion... If you just got your production number yesterday, then wait a couple of days and try again. Orders are often wrong in the beginning, but then are corrected. The OL info is updated rather infrequently (i.e., it's well behind the real order database that your dealer and MINI actually works off of), so things lag.

Just to be safe, you may want to call your dealer and make sure they put in writing what your order actually is. That way in the very unlikely event that there is a discrepency at delivery, you'll have it hardcopy that you ordered something different. But again, it's very unlikely that there's really a problem.

Welcome to MCO!

As I understand it, the actual procedure is that your local Mini dealer modifies an existing model when they put in an order. When I first received my production number, I immediately ran to the owners lounge and had the same wrong result. It corrected itself within 36 hours. The estimated production date also moved up one week and it did so rather quickly - making me hopeful for new updates, but none ever came. When they car was actually put into the schedule for production mode, it again flashed to an incorrect configuration and I waited this out for a day and it was fine.

Give it a few days than call your MA.

also be sure to check out This Page once you get your VIN. I just saw yesterday that my MINI just set tire on American Soil yesterday at 3:30 pm in NY!
