It was weird. Yesterday, I was driving around and I make a u-turn and suddenly my flat tire light lit up. I stopped at the gas station and everything looks fine. I drive away with it on and then 30 seconds later, my DSC goes on. I was very worried and then they both just turned off. Anyone ever have this? Is this normal?

Also, how many clicks does it take to turn on/off the DSC? Mine take about 2 or more to get it lit up and turned off. Is that right?

Happened to me. It's a problem that is fixed via a diode recall. I had it done. Take it to your dealership.

DSC is affected by only one click of the switch for me, but I think you have to hold it down for a sec. Try that instead.

Ivan,

You stated that you performed a U-turn immediately prior to your light coming on.

Welcome friend to "that's the way its supposed to work", a show where we explain those everyday phenomena that just seem to happen. Sorry. Your system is designed to detect changes in rotational speed between the different wheels. By performing the u turn you merely activated the advisory warning. Nothing to do but reset it. Get our your manual, move the ignition switch into the number 2 position and press that little flat tire button under the hand brake. Nuthin' to it. No need to freak this is normal. Happens to folks all the time.

MGCMAN - thanks for that info. I've made several U turns since and I don't get this issue any more. I made some really fast ones too since I was in a hurry. Anyway, perhaps that recall fixed that issue?

Ivan - thanks for the comments on the sig. A slight angle to my stance was all that was need to get that shot. I have the blue shift book and if you look reeeeeeeal close the ebrake is also lapis blue. Those were incl. with the car. I have not seena red leather one.

Minicoop78 painted some of his trim red. You should PM him for pix. His car is seriously powerful.
