In the new September issue of SCC I received today they have their Eight Great Rides for less than $30,000. The MCS is included. The MCS tied for 3 a while ago in their tough crowd comparison for cars under $20,000 (tied with Focus SVT, beat by MazdaSpeed Protege and SRT 4 neon) Here is the tough crowd link. The story I'm talking about isnt up yet but if you really want to see it go get the september issue, it's a good magazine anyways, not as much rice as Super Street. interesting article...I knew the SRT4 was a screamer straight away, same as the new Z, but didn't realize it handled that well beating the MCS through the slalom, no wonder the kids are flocking to it....looks like VW needs a whole new redesign on the GTI as the handling remains dismal.....also have to agree with the article about the 17" wheels and runflats....they ar both horrid as that is the one mod I made going to 16" alloys and yokos...slight boost in performance at low end, but huge difference in handling......cheers
