Repair or replace windshield?

Ahhh - the frustration - I heard the all to familiar "*****" of a rock on my windshield today, front and center - an eight legged spider crack!

It's a small one, somewhere around the size of a nickle right now.

The question, repair or replace? insurance covers either (including the rain sensor) with no-deductable (ya - FL). I had a bad experience with my past acura....

Any experience? I saw comments by searching.. but has anyone had a failure on the repairs?

Get it replaced....

I've found that they windshields also get pitted and this scatters light. This is mostly noticable at night. If there's no difference out of pocket, and there's some pitting on the glass, just get it replaced and enjoy the newfound night visibility.
