I saw someone once mention $2000 for the spoiler ... but then you need to replace (or cut!) the rear window glass since it's notched in the GP to allow the spoiler brackets to fit.

Allow me to say...poo. Owell, maybe if I ever feel froggy enough, I'd go for it.

There is a blind plate in the hatch side rail that the bolts attach to. RealOEM has the exploded drawing. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...72&hg=41&fg=60

Item # 16 is accessed by pulling the trim panels in the hatch door.

The uprights, item # 19 wrap around the seam in hatch and bolt to this plate as shown in the photo above.

The parts are not inexpensive. You need at least the 2 uprights, center wing section and back glass. Only the center wing section is CF, the uprights being a hard plastic. The back glass is a MINI only part. Auto Glass shops do not list the GP in their systems. The glass is notched and does not have a hole for the wiper. On the GP the 3rd brake light is in the same location as the wiper motor on all other MINI's. The wing makes it harder to see the 3rd light in it's normally elevated position. On the GP that space is filled with a small vortex generator. I've looked at this 7 ways from Sunday trying to get a wing for my car, even trying to buy an insurance write off GP for some of the parts. MINI bought it back to keep the parts out of general circulation.
