Not sure where to post this... I just ordered a 2003 MC with #1,#2,#3,Xenon and Auto wipes. Couple of questions... Newbie so beware...

Does the Owners Club show pics of car on assembly line or does it just say in production and that's it?

What are everyone's favorite websites for mods and the like.

Are there any clubs in North Carolina? I am a member of the local Miata club and we have a lot fun. I have a baby boy now and would like to drag the new family along on club rides. Tough to do that with the Miata thus the Mini!!! At least that's the excuse I gave the wife!

I don't know the answer to your question but I wanted to say Welcome.

All I know is that if you go to the MINIUSA site there is an Owners Lounge where you can enter your VIN number and track your MINI. I don't know if photos are there or not but I think it's updated weekly (Fridays). So if your car is in production and they give a date it could have been in production all week or just a day or two, because it only gives Fridays dates.

Oh, and this is the favorite site for all sorts of MODS! You can click on the Forums bullet to the left and find all sorts of great information. You can read for days. And looking for a group in your area, well, go to those same Forums and find your area and read who is meeting where!

When you get your estimated delivery date, find the thread that says "Can't wait for October" and there you will find other people waiting for delivery in that same month. There's a club for each month! you can really learn how to track your MINI there!
