The center of the steering wheel of my 2003 MCS is wearing off and looks pretty bad. I bought the car from the origingal owner and I recieved all of the receipts of anything ever done to the car (all Dealer maintained). One of the items was from about 2 years ago where the Dealer got the ok from MINI USA to "paint the center steering wheel for the wear". So now it's doing it again. Any advice on how to paint it or what you've done? The other problem there is the center plastic piece; its wearing pretty badly too.

The 2nd area of wear is the side mirror "right/left" switch. I simply pulled it out and painted it with paint designed for plastic. It looks brand new now.

The 3rd area is parking brake. I think the best "fix" is to buy a carbon fiber one, and then throw the stocker in the trash. Any advice on where to get the carbon fiber one from (or other options)?

The 4th area is the pull handle that you grad when shutting the door. Its the light gray plastic and is wearing off, only on the passenger side. I removed the three screws that hold that piece in as I was going to take it off, sand it down, and paint it to look new (or just replace it). But even with the screws removed I couldn't pull it off. May be held by clips but I didn't want to break anything. :impatient
