Converting headlights

How do you go about converting the Xeon lights to Halogen?
Is it a painful process? Where do you get the conversion kit?

It won't be cheaper than replacing your ballast unfortunately. The reflector and bulb mount isn't the same, so you'll end up with really poor (read "unsafe") lighting at best. Plus you'll need to do some wiring changes and fitting.
Have you tried calling a couple salvage yards for the ballast?

Try these guys.

You may have to email them with the part description. I noticed that they didn't specify it. I selected "headlight assembly" and it asked if it was xenon or non, so you've got a shot.

Why in the world would you want to go back to halogen from the far superior HID's?

It's down to cost. $450 fo rthe ballast that went out and $200 for the bulbs.
That is crazy.
