Inside a 04 MCS

Is it normal that the driver side seat is further away from the parking brake than the passenger seat? The brake handle appears straight but definitely more room on the driver side.

Thx

I honestly don't know. I would think its like that so the driver has a little more room to work the shifter. You only need the parking brake to park so reaching a little further for that is no biggie. You always need the shifter.

Might be one of the elements that they opted not to change from the right-hand drive versions in the UK. One location fits both, it just fits a little better in the RHD model.

Just what jrlombard said... they just left it from the RHD models. Same reason your bonnet release is on the passenger side. No sense spending money changing those types of things.
