Running Lights

Is there any way that I can get the day time running lights deactivated? Is there something I can do or do I have to take it back to MINI? I've an 05 Cooper.

The dealer will have to program this for you.

Dealer can turn that off, but I don't know why you'd want to. It's a proven safety feature that really enhances the visibilty of a small car. When windshields get old and hazy and full of glare, objects are hard to see. DRL help that.

Being highly visible isn't always advantageous.
