How about one that's a FWD? RWD on a scale version of something that's a FWD is silly.

Available at Sam's Club, good luck. Two colors, silver/blk, red/white. Lights, turn signals, horn, remote locks and three speeds. RWD. Boot, Bonnet, & doors open.
About 65 bucks. Already bought three, one for myself and two for friends. Look what one guy did with his.

got mine and mailed one off to another Miniac.

Yup, it's got a 3 speed tranny but it needs a LSD. For if one of those rear wheels starts to spin that's all she wrote.

Lovely addition to the collection

Juan,

It's apparently a Proline prototype kit. I don't think it's available yet, but do a Google search for Proline, or for UK RC Racing and you should find it.

When you say a two speed tranny, do you really mean a transmission? Is there a thrid channel for the gear shift or is a centrifugal type?

Or are you taking about a resistor type speed controller that regulates the voltage going to the motor?

Pro-Line makes RC car bodies. It's out at $20 a piece in CA but more other places. it fits on any 10scale RC chassis. honestly I wouldn't get it as they come clear. and need to be painted. and 2, you have to have prior RC experience jus to build the body, as none of the marking holes are pre cut. The upside is, if you do have RC experience, you can make an exact copy of your MINI,

the wheels on the model look to be Kyosho

can't see what the chassis is though

Kyosho was my first guess when I saw those wheels as well.

Still I want to know if there's a real two speed tranny in the 1/6 scale model.

3 speed. And the engine noise changes as you change gears. Also, when you turn, the indicators blink on the correct side.

Alice (Cooper) is almost as much fun as I had hoped. It keeps getting better and better. Maybe my fuel economy would be better if I wasn't having so much fun? Liquid yellow with a black roof and bonnet stripes. The plates say MINIAC.

And here I thought my '03 MCS was an RC car all along. Only difference was that the controls are inside. I just have to learn to watch myself around the dining room table and chairs. All those legs are killer!

too much. if you wait for the sale, I can get a gas (nitro) powered one for $89 bucks

then you can throw the money you saved into other things for it.
