More Questions...
Ok, so you guys have been VERY helpful in letting me know some things about my MINI. Now I have just a couple more questions for group of experts...
1. Has anyone had a problem with there glove box staying closed? Mine keeps opening up anytime I go over a bump. (Kind of annoying)
2. When I do my brake job is there a way of getting around using the brake sensor. I change my brakes fairly regularly and I do not require the sensor. So if there is something I can use to fool the system with or do to make the light go out for good I would really like to know.
That is all for now, but I am sure I will come up with more in the not so distant future. Thanks

My glove box stays closed, but there may be some adjustment in the hinges or latch that would help yours.
As for the brakes - if the wear sensor has worn all the way through and activated the dash light for the brakes, I think you have to replace it - it's a consumable item. But if it hasn't worn through yet, you can just ziptie the sensor out of the way and rely on periodic visual inspections to make sure your pads still have plenty of meat on them. This is a fairly common practice, because some of the popular aftermarket pads don't have provisions for the wear sensors.
