Well, you could use a .45 but you'd probably just end up having to buy a new rear window...
What I meant was when you remove the rear wiper assembly you are left with a hole in the base of the rear glass. I forgot which forum I was posting on so I haphazardly said "pop a cap in the hole in the glass." What I meant was go and buy a plastic plug that fits into the hole in the glass and place it in said hole.
In summation,
Gunshots to rear window to fix rear wiper problem =
Butt plugs to fix the rear wiper problem =

So, in summation, we've gone from my being a potential pathological liar, to discovering the meaning of "Wally-World", to bustin' a cap in my rear window, to using goo-gone (?), to a butt plug..... My brain hurts. I'm gonna go places and eat things (3 Stooges reference). Wait. There's an idea! Let's start a combination diners club/ride to nowhere thing. We could pick a restaurant central to everyone, go there, and talk about random, totally unrelated stuff, and confuse the hell out of anyone in ear-shot. Whadda ya think? I'm wicked smaht (Boston reference).

The thought of Walley World brings too many possibilities for a trip gone bad. But, maybe I'm thinking of a different place. 
Rain-X that rear window, never use the wiper again, just let it sit there, no removal, no replacement, no cap poppin'. Does make for a good MF towel rack.
