Do some of the mini's have larger lips than others?

ive got an 03 cooper (base) and the front lip looks more like this





but ive noticed some have this lip

 

They look the same to me? Just a different photo angle.

FWIW, my Cooper has a totally different lip than that, but it's an 06.

 

the bottom car posted, the lip sticks out further than the blue mini.

 

The top is the Cooper bumper and the bottom is a retro fitted "S" bumper.

Look at the bumper insters and fog lamp holes and compare.

 

how hard is it to mate an S bumper to a non S car?

 

The top photo is from an earlier (02-04) MC, and the bottom one is a later MC. Headlights/taillights and rear bumper are also a bit different.

The top car also has the Cooper S side sills, white repeater lights and gas cap.

bottom is a cooper s

the cooper s bumper fits on a cooper no problem. only thinky ou need to do is move the fog lights to the cooper s positions

other wise its 6 bolts an you are done.
