R50/53 Road Trip to Baltimore / Washington
We recently returned from a road trip to the BW area from Columbus OH.
My new Quicksilver Exhaust was just fine at highway speeds (3000 rpm constant) and droned just a tad under load (uphill and accelerating). The new non-runflat tires (Nankang) planed quite a bit on puddled roads on the way home, but that is to be expected with wide tires. Averaged right around 30 mpg over about 1000 miles of mostly 75 mph highway driving.
Saw the Pandas at the National Zoo, Inner Harbor in Baltimore, and a Covered Bridge in rural Pennsylvania; among other things.
We also stopped at the Flight 93 site in Shanksville (see my thread in 'Off Topic').
Here are a couple of pics of IQQIMINI witht he covered bridge:

See the rest of my pics HERE, including British Car show pics and more IQQIMINI and other MINI pics.

>>Should have visited us! We live right outside of DC! Great pics!
Darnit all.... Now I have to drive all the way back just to make up for it?
You are right, I should have said something about going, but you know, hindsight is 20/20.
On what side of DC do you live?

There's a neighbor about 6 blocks from me with the same Mini! The license plate reads: BIG GRIN.
BTW, when visiting VA beware of POTHOLES!!!
It's been a terrible Spring for zooming around due to all the water and cold.

>>I'm north.....I live right off of 295 between DC and Baltimore so I get the best of both worlds.
Oh, cool, I live in Odenton. I moved from Greenbelt last year, and I'm on 295 a lot. I might have to join the Mid-Atlantic MINI Enthusiasts club, since I just got my MCS...
