Well I think I have found my MCS! It's an 06 chilli red/white with premium/sport/sirius that is new and has been waiting patiently for me. The dealer (MINI of Charleston) has been very helpful and up front with my questions on my trade. Unless I am being totally hosed (I doubt) I don't see any reason this won't work out. I think I'm going down to Charleston Tuesday to do the deal!

Ihope I am not jinxing my self here but this one feels like the one .

Congrats on your pending purchase. I know how you're feeling. I went through the same thing a couple of months ago waiting to purchase mine. Odd, mine was also a left over 06 MCS, red/white equipped almost the same as yours. Mine is an automatic which I really have grown to like.

I will do that- but I am going to wait untill I get the MINI. I am looking forward to doing some cruises and maybe autocross with the MCS- that is one of the things that attracted me to the MINI-I always loved the design but the level of enthusiasm is incredible.

I was washing my old Benz E320 wagon yesturday and kept thinking-this will quicker with the MINI-damn that's a big car when you're a little OCD about detailing. It will be my wife's when the MINI gets here- I'm trading her van for the MINI which is kind of a victory for me. I am also constantly thinking of what the first mod will be.....auto up windows? door lock/garage door opener mod? Union Jack sunrook cover??? no wonder I've got dark circles!
