Would you guys recommend the clear bra after it is beat up a bit? Or should I just hold more money in my wallet to get a respray and it cleaned up?

My son and I both had the Mini's clear bras installed at the dealership the same time...cost $500.00Cdn for both. These little cars attract stones like a magnet! Can't imagine not having one installed (?). Maybe if I still owned the car in 10 years I wouldn't care about stuff like rock chips, but right now it would be a big deal! I highly recommend installation.

Yeah, well, at my grandmothers, I think it was some sort of rodent.

OldTrojan

OldTrojan, you convinced me, I think I'll have to get one now. You obviously have good taste, since you are the only other PW/G convertible I've see besides mine.
Nice wheels!

The protection offered is more than worth the very slight edge line from the plastic. I have a beautiful PW/G convertible and really glad I had the dealer install the clear bra before delivery. Best of luck with the new MC!

Green... That makes a total of four, nationwide, that I know of. My MA sold another to a couple in Illinois, yours, mine, and one that another NAM member sent me a picture of. That's pretty rare, in my opinion! I like it! We had aftermarket green leather with perforated seating added before delivery. What interior do you have? Be careful and I'll catch you later. david

Funny you should mention the wheels! I'm in the process of selling them to a guy in CA. When I spec'd Sgt Pepper I just knew I had to have the R99's. I bought them from a private party and had them put on right after I took delivery. I never really liked the look from then on, but tried to get used to them. Finally decided I liked the lighter color wheels that came (like yours). So today I had them changed back and will clean a box them for sunny California. They look really nice on a silver or dark silver car, though. Later, david

Two pages and no one took the cheap shot at suggesting a Wonder Bra????-man this place is slipping!

I hear you on the bad food at Grandma's Lynn- neither of mine could cook anything-they sure could order a good pizza though!

I have the black leatherette. Didn't want anything fancy, since I covered up the back with Wet Okoles so I don't mind putting a messy dog back there. I'm really happy with the seat cover. Muddy dog, no problem.

Don't even bother to get the aero kit if you do not have a clear bra!

The kits I've seen w/o it are destroyed. I have the aero & clear bra and there are a lot of chips in the few spots that are not covered, I'd hate to see what my car would be like without it. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I wish I would have put a clear bra on 5 years ago. My 02 has close to a million chips, but 90% are on the lower bumper. I got a new Audi in December and had a clear bra put on the lower bumper, nothing on the hood, so you can't really tell it's there.
