Stealth UniChip install

Hypothetically speaking of course, if someone wanted to stealthily install a UniChip for quick removal when needed, where would one put the silver box that would normally be wired under the steering column? In the well under the driver side vent in the engine compartment? Do you have to wrap it or protect it in some fashion?

Just curious

That's exactly where I put mine. I actually used a large velco patch to hold it in place, which also allows for quick removal when taking it into the dealer. See the first picture in my gallery for an idea of how I mounted mine...

BTW, I didn't protect or wrap it. It made it though a tough WI winter with no problems...

Good luck!
