The sunroof is a subjective choice. If you like the idea of being able to see the sky and scenery above your head. It is the way to go. I have always had sports cars and like that option. I haven't notice much rattling exept on very rough roads. Heat? On hot days I use the key option and open the car windows and roof as I am approaching the car. The other thing I have noticed is the view is so nice I actually don't open it as much as I thought I would. For me it was worth it.

I have sunroof and MINI-rack. You can open the sunroof with the rack in place. However, the rack is VERY noisy and creates a HUGE amount of windnoise. I have tried both the rack bars only as well as the rack with the basket, and both are very noisy. I am thinking about testing some attachments to the rack to reduce the noise level, and will post results.

Hi every mini fan,

I finally did a booking for the MINI/w sunroof. Today I checked the MINI car w/ sunroof and it looks so nice. I can't resist ....oh...waman....(not man in this case).

I think I will get it arounf the next 10 days. And I will tell you guys again how it really feel to ride that one w/sunroof.
