hello, I had a question on my newly replaced transmission. I bought an 06 MCS second week of April 2007. My MCS had a faulty synchro mechanism and so the MINI dealership replaced the transmission. Its been a little over 1000 miles of my new transmission whenever i shift, it still feels scratchy from 1st to 2nd, 3rd to 4th, so on and so on. Is this normal? Its also making a squeeky noise when in neutral when i push the shift **** to the right but no squeeky noise when i push to the left. The noise isnt THAT loud, but is noticeable when theres no music and windows up. If anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated.

 

That does not sound normal. Have you had the dealer take a look at it again? Im sure it was, but was the new transmission properly broken in?
