What's going on at Prestige Service Dept?

Three service advisers fired within the last 3 months. Angel a few months ago; Rick two weeks ago; and Carolyn last Tuesday.

I've always only gone to Carolyn and found her the most competent and professional and very willing to assist her customers.

Come on Chris Turner; what's going on?

Carolyn is gone? Wow, she's the only SA I dealt with there. Makes me kind of glad that I did not re-up my warranty through them.

Hello everyone,

New member here as well as New (used) Mini owner.

Other than the recent developments stated above, how has anyone whom has had their Mini serviced at Prestige Mini in Ramsey NJ found the quality of their service overall?

Generally easy to deal with?
Relatively high/low cost?
No surprise type of place?
Quick turnaround?
Reliable?
Good communication?

Picked up my used 06' S 6spd up Monday night and love it so I'm looking for a reliable, honest and relatively inexpensive dealer to have it serviced when the need arises.

I hope these questions aren't against any forum rules as this thread is about the service dept. at the particular dealership that's nearest to where I live.

Thanks in advance for any and all info/input.

Happy holidays to all.

Thanks Chris, I'll look into it.

Always good to get feedback from others who have had some experience so I can make a more informed decision on who to trust my car to.

Happy New Year to all.

Oh wow, I used to deal with Angel and liked his no-BS attitude a lot!
What's the story?

Before this massive turnover of good people, I used to recommend Prestige to others. Now, with all my contacts gone, I don't see how I can anymore.

I'm back to the old standby: "find a trustworthy independent as soon as pre-paid factory warranty runs out".

I was fond of Angel and swore by Rick - he always gave me excellent service. Does not seem to be the same place without them. No luck yet finding a good Mini independent in NNJ.

Good work. Reasonable rates and the car will be ready when they say it will be.

And you don’t even have to pick two. You can have rates, ready and good work.

I've only just started having some services done at this dealership because I've only been a Mini owner since October but my experiences there so far have been great.

Service advisor Carla has been very helpful and accommodating and the work seems to have been done right and with good turn around times. I hope that level of service is maintained during future services.
