Pittsburgh Vintage GP Question

I registered for the 7/17 and 7/18 weekend thru PittStop (driving out Friday afternoon).

I've never been to the PVGP. Does one pickup registration materials at the event site on Saturday?

If memory serves correctly, you will get a packet when you arrive.

PVGP events a total bust

I drove 250 miles and paid over $350 to attend "events" that were supposedly MINI oriented.
Much to my dismay and total disappointment, there is ZERO organization and co-ordination for these events There are no locations posted for events, nor times, nor contact #s.
I attended the Car Cruise Tuesday night. There was no evidence of either PittStop MINIs or P&W Motors, the sole dealership in W. PA. I had to go to the event co-ordinator to get a parking space, as I was rejected outright by the small group of classic Minis already parked. A total of three MINIs showed up...and we're supposed to be the Marque Car of the Year!!
Today I drove clear out to BeaveRun racetrack for the "MINI Day". I arrrive to find ONE car there, and those poor souls had driven up from Austin, TX. Eventually, a total of 6 cars showed. The "event" called for a gathering of 1,000 MINIs. HAH!!! The very kind souls at BeaveRun went to the trouble to set up an auto-cross course for us and we got to do 3 laps on their road rally race track.
I was never contacted about a cancellation, and obvoiusly, neither were the folks who showed up.
So far, I have been extremely disappointed and more than a little pissed off. There are no reps from the local club, no organization whatsoever. I intend to demand my money back.
It's a good thing I have family here or the trip would have been a complete waste of time. I am furious and will resign from the PittStop MINI Club forthwith.
