I had a great time at the TC day on 3/7. I ran in group2 Gromit was in 3, and there was another mini in group1 (an instructor ran their r56 at lunch also ftw). Turn 7 is really sharp, but sets you up to go faster earlier on the back straight. Turns 10-12 require a bit more care and arent as fast as they were when you could drive on the paint. I entered 10 going too fast and caught some oversteer and had to ride on the bumps for a sec and it isnt the fastest way to run it - but its better than grass. I look forward to driving it again soon.

I am doing my first one of the season Sat. Can't wait to run the new course.

Did you run with or without the chicane? I just found out we will be running it w/o the chicane. I am not sure how I feel about going into turn 4 at 130mph

We ran with the chicane, for me thats the funnest part, Oh man that would be a mean front straight w- out it

Thought, you were taking some great pictures. Surprising in fact as compared to my dad's, same 80-200 lens but an f100 instead of d70, the digi pictures are much much brighter and sharper. Nice work, to say the least. :P

 

There was some editing I must admit. I boosted the colors a touch and added a little contrast. Nothing I wouldn't have done in a dark room.

Scott, it looks like the weather will be a bit wet tomorrow. Should be fun though, like taking a track day and skid car training all at the same time!
