Anyone going to AMVIV.4??
And one of the organisers for the last 2 AMVIVs is now a local PDX member I believe. Todd told us he'd 100% be coming to AMVIV in 07, so there's at least 1 in the convoy.
BTW, Scott, you have a fleet of PM's.
I don't know if the schedule will take it, but I hope we can fit it in. We've been to Nevada 3 times this past year, for a myriad of reasons (on a PDX MINI run to the salt flats area and through central Cal, and two flyaway trips to LV)
How long does it take to drive to LV from up here? Do you go the rural routes or just down I-5 and around?

The, ummm, trip only took me <cough> 12 hours <cough> LOL
I went down thru Burns to Winnemucca, over to Austin and then south to Vegas. The only real traffic encountered was on the short drive on the highway east of Winnemucca.. Watch out for those County Mounties tho !

Greetings. I know some of you have been getting a little antsy about registering for AMVIV, and I find that very flattering. It's so cool that you all are so enthusiastic to come and see us again!
Anyway, I'm sending this out to let you all know that AMVIV4 registrations are now open. Go to http://www.amviv.com/reg.htm to register. After you fill in and submit the demographic and contact info on that page, you will go to the payment page. Please read all the notes and info on the page. I only put stuff on there that I felt was important, such as the fact that banquet tickets are NOT available except through pre-registration and pre-payment.
The schedule of events is also there http://www.amviv.com/schedule.htm though it isn't 100% set in stone yet. There may be a few changes due to circumstances beyond our control. Or some that are within our control, but that we think will improve the event.
See you in March,

I'm from the Vancouver BC (Canada) area and am planning on driving to AMVIV4. I've never driven to Las Vegas before. Does everybody just drive down there alone or do various clubs meet up somewhere and go down together? I would love to meet up with other MINI owners from Washington State and Oregon.
There are a few of us planning on sorting out a caravan from Puget Sound. If you want to register on PSMINI.org you can jump on the thread there. We always invite our neighbors in BC on our runs.
Jeff
