Anyone going to AMVIV.4??
I got that. Thanks Steve.
Scott, I apologise for not responding to your email earlier this year. I don't remember seeing it, and I'm currently unable to see my old emails (hard drive issues at home).
I saw the PM you sent Steve and basically have the same response at Steve. Some of the things you weren't happy with were not under our control (track issues and the Sunday breakfast), others we are working on (Poker run and better clarification of timing), and some were misunderstandings (the Sin City members did not eat first at the banquet, we actually ate last and some didn't eat at all).
Maybe you'll come back some time and see if you enjoy it more.
From the responses we got to the survey, almost everything that 1 person didn't like, someone else actively said they liked. We had a fairly equal number of complaints that there was too many things planned as complaints that there wasn't enough planned. That kind of thing. We looked at the "didn't like" comments pretty closely, but there's no way you can make everyone completely happy with something like this. And then you get the unrealistic ones. One survey said that the rooms at Palace Station weren't nice enough, and that we should stay on the Strip next time, and they wanted to pay under $50 per night. The only places on the Strip where you can stay for $50 a night, also rent by the hour.
All we can do is our best, then collect and distill all the feedback we can get.

I guess the issue with the dinner is that db and Todd gave your club the ok to start getting your food. I assumed you all did. If not, then I apologize. But everyone at our table was commenting on it.
I hope things get worked out as I would love to be a part of it again.

I think it may have been a misunderstanding. The table of Desert MINI people who were fairly major sponsors went up early, and there were Vegas people scattered around also, but the table I was sitting at and the other table that the other "event organizer" type were sitting at with the last 2 tables called.
Hopefully, we'll see you again, but if not, I know we can't please everyone.

Hey Agro!
While you're working on it, see if you can get more hours in the day so that Scooby, Steve and I can have more beer time at the Pub in the Palace Station.
Some of my road buddies I meet on MTTS will be coming to their first AMVIV.
It's only 3 months, 2 weeks, 2 days until then
.
So stay tuned,
Keith

Well Keith, I can't do much about hours in the DAY, but have you noticed that there are almost as many hours in the night?
Many of these "night" hours go unused for all intents and purposes, as many Las Vegas visitors seem to spend them laying down.
Some spend them curled up around bathroom fixtures, some spend them curled up with another Vegas visitor (or local).
My personal philosophy for these kinds of occasions is this:
Sleep is for the weak, and this is the weekend.

Scooby 03 you guys cracked me up last year, I believe you were still a little drunk when you got to the Denny's last year, you were funny but it scared me a little that you would drive like that. I do have to agree with you about the caravan it is fun. I don't know if I will be doing the caravan thing next time Quinton said something about just going by ourselves this time, but who knows we both said we were'nt even going next time and we have already changed our minds about that. No matter what am looking foward to seeing you all again if you talk to William tell him hi for me would ya.

The only waste was spending money on a room.

I just wake up that way

Once we start drinking, we no longer do any driving

Steve
I like the idea of travling with other Minis to AMVIV,but not driving as fast as some.So if i'm am going to lose sight of those I am with, I might as well go solo. The CHP officer responded when asked,"how fast can i go"? as fast as you want to pay.I don't want to pay.Q
But maybe we can have a slower "safe and sain" group following the vapor trail of the leaders.Steve
You know, I lost my car for about 30 minutes at Savemart Center one night. Seriously, I was walking up and down the same aisles, and I knew I parked in one of them but just could not find my car. The sad thing is that I was stone sober.
I always try to park in the far away empty zones in parking lots, but when I can't, I tend to have to think more about where my car is.

Sorry gang, haven't been on the forums in awhile. :slaps hand:
We had let it die down and that's my fault. Too busy doin' other club related stuff. Thanks for all of you coming in and participating in the forum! Despite the off-topic discussion (which doesn't bother me that much as it is the most anyone has been here in awhile), hopefully it will remind folks that AMVIV is a comin'.
The rest of the club may provide some more members down in Vegas, although it is not on the official calendar this coming year as a club event. I personally would love to make it if I can, but I may not be able to get to it.
I'll do my best to promote it in the next few months as it approaches.
Cheers!

I would still like to know how many people from the northwest are going to meet up with us on the way to AMVIV.
