Rasmussen was good to me

I am going to shamelessly plug for Rasmussen MINI.
I brought the ol' MINI in for "Service II" on Thursday.
Not only did they give me a ride to and from work, my service advisor (Ms. Fry) advised me of a few important issues involving the car and managed to get them fixed at a VERY reasonable rate.
I have never been treated so well in my life.
Two thumbs up, and a customer for life.

dan

PS: they even cleaned it for me--no easy task...

Welcome to Portland, Dude.

Rasmussen is all about the good service. Occasionally they mess up something, but they are usually very straight up. The 5 star hotel treatment makes you dread going anywhere else for service if you own a different car.

Anne Rocks, BTW. She will evenually know you by name and car.

The used sales/ trade side is a little less awesome. But the service dept, is top shelf.

'S funny, because I've owned BMWs and had a few run-ins with Rasmussen service on that side of things, but the Mini side of things (well, after 1 visit, I've only had the car 2 weeks) was completely and totally great. I called on a Monday morning, got a first-thing Tuesday am appointment to fix a broken interior door latch - on the BMW stuff I've had to wait quite a bit before. Kuni's worse, though.

Last Wednesday, I took my MINI in for the first time since I bought it a year ago. I have to say I was a bit disappointed as it ended up being just like any other dealership in the way they avoided working on it. While they did the oil and filter change just fine, they totally blew off my rear rattle issue. According to the tech notes, it was "the metal boxes in the trunk". This was the XM Direct receiver and Blitzsafe adaptor that don't have moving parts inside that could create a rattle and weren't touching each other or a hard surface.

So now I need to remove both of them and schedule another appointment. Hopefully my HK passenger door rattle will return too as they couldn't replicate it and didn't fix this well known issue.

At least their shuttle service was fast, as I didn't wait more then a minute for a ride to work!
