License Plate Faux Pas?

So with the addition of "Gloria" the bumble-bee to our family, we have been trying to come up with some good ideas for custom license plates.

That being said, I have a question about the perceived seperation between BMW and MINI. I realize that a MINI is NOT a "bimmer", but is there any hostility between owners? The reason I ask, is that the best plate I can come up with (thus far) is:

BEEE MR
or
BEE-MER

I know at the end of the day, it doesnt matter what others think... but is it like putting "Acura" on a Honda Civic? (Former Integra owner.... we hate Honda's)

Asside from that, anyone have any good ideas following the "bee" theme?

Thanks in advance
Matt

MINI is a division of BMW as much as Jaguar was a division of Ford.

Hope that helps!

Unfortunatly, we are limited to 6 letters here in Oregon :(

KLR BEE might work, but i highly doubt it's available... need to make some calls!

i don't think referring to your MINI as a BMW is correct. Just like calling a Jaguar a Ford as referenced in an earlier post.

How about BUZZER or BUZZR or BZZZZZ or BUZZZZ?

I would agree at this point... seems like the feedback I have been getting

re: BUZZZZ

Actually the guy who had the car before the guy i bought it from had BUZZZZ as his plates... so we were looking for something original

I LIKE YLW JKT!!

I just realized KLR BEE might only work if you have an Africanized MINI...
and of course then it would die off as soon as winter came...
but a whole parking lot full of 'em could sting an SUV to death!

sorry,
dan

maybe HORNET (get it? hornet?)

Thanks for the clarification on that one!

I also thought about BUZZED, but I can only imagine the comments from the police if (and when) I ever got pulled over...

"...Buzzed huh? Why don't you step outside"
