Thanks for the pics Jarid. I fixed the first one, it wasn't showing correctly.

Cool MX-3, too!

Thanks Ryan. Glad I could help at the rally. Oh yea...found my phone.. The lodge called me today and I must have dropped it on the grounds cuz it was inbetween two buildings.

That was the most fun one could have legally [almost - I too found the grin dial just doin it's thing] Need faster throttle response though I found myself waiting a split second on the double down, wouldn't twist quite fast enough and tight enough - I think larger sparking wires might help?]

Sandy and I had one of the greatest times ever.

Somehow just saying thanks doesn't seem enough.

Cool Jarid. Ya I stopped by Rasmussen on my way home to give Ann some flowers and another copy of the Oregonian article. And don't get me started on that article. You're going to have to post some pictures of the end look. With your eye, I'm sure you'll pick something really stunning for Coopie.

Well, I also want to add my praise and thanks for putting together such a fun event. The roads were great, and it was awesome to see so many different MINI (and Mini) configurations). No two were the same, and there were LOTS of different looks.

I was sad that no one else had a checker top... wanted to see some more of those.

Anyway, it was awesome. My wife and I ended up making a real trip out of it, and got a room at the Benson in downtown Portland. We did a little shopping this morning, and walked around... I must say, it's BEAUTIFUL there!

BTW, Ryan, was that your MINI I saw parked out front of the bank on 6th and something? I thought it was, and then felt bad... if you actually had to go back to work today! My MINI is still covered in dirt and grime. I have to wait until tomorrow to get it cleaned up!

I've got lots of pics, too. If I have any that are worth sharing, I'll be sure to get them to you. Thanks again.

Yup! That was me. I work right in the heart of the financial district. Normally take MAX (Metro Area Express...light rail transit) to work as parking is expen$ive. But it was MLK day, so parking is free. And when you work at 5am, you get your choice of spots.

Glad to hear you had a good time and a nice stay.

Thanks for the rally, folks. It was definitely worth the drive up from the coast. Since we were in town, we visited Rasmussen the next morning and got the little rattle in the passenger-side dashboard taken care of (Thanks, Anne and Chris). They're so great, they even washed the car so we didn't look trashed for the drive home. We took 99W all the way to Monroe, then southwest. Didn't touch the freeway.
One favor, please. Any chance of listing the correct answers from the rally? We were discussing them on the ride home and wondered where we went wrong. We thought for sure we had it nailed.......... not that we're competitive or anything. My navigator is curious.

Ann helped me make contact with the vendor in Texas. I'm going all the way and have purchased the boot stripes too. I'm having Rasmussen's folks put them on, they are a type of decal and I'm not sure I'm expert enough to apply them.

They [Cooper Flags] have asked if we could take pic's for their gallery, I'd like to do that with a Rasmussen logo or sign in the background. Also the company wants feedback on how they went on, and the quality of their product.

Coopie is sooooooooooooo excited, keeps asking "are they here yet?"
