As a newbie, I have a 2004 MCS on order. After the car is delivered, I would like to change out the wheels to R90's. I'm thinking of transfering the existing tires and remount them on the R90 wheels. I understand changing RUN Flat tires requires special attention. Can anyone recommend a shop in the Portland or Seattle area? Thank you!

More and more tire dealers are getting acustomed to dealing with run flat tires. Corvetts have had them for years and so have BMW's and Mercedes. I had a repair done at Les Shwabs and they had only 1 guy that knew what he was doing. I have since changed out my RF's for new gripper tires and purchased them at Discount tire in Bellevue. They were very familliar with the stiff sidewalls of the RF's, and did a very good job.

My suggestion is to just ask the questions to their experience in dealing with these types of tires, and go with them.

Good Luck! and check out http://www.Clubmini.net

Thank you for your reply! I'll look into Discount in Bellevue. I wonder if they need special machine to mount and dismount RF's?
