Sebring

I just wanted to let everyone know that I posted a bunch of pictures from Sebring up on my site. They can be found here. It was a great race this year. The Audi R10 is absolutely amazing. On deceleration, all you hear are turbos spooling during the downshifts and wind rushing by. There's a slight hum on acceleration. One of my buddies had a radar gun and we clocked it at 170 on the straights - about 5 mph faster than the others. The crazy thing is that for all that speed, it's brakes don't even glow at night. The American powered cars (Corvette, Aston) brakes were glowing red hot .

Anybody else go? I saw a bunch of MINI's in the parking lot including a GP.

Thanks for sharing your pictures kapps. Some day I may get there. I enjoyed the TV coverage, but it just isn't the same.

Great stuff kapps. This year was the first year that I missed Sebring since I started going in 1984. I darn near died on Saturday watching all the action from Michigan. One thing is better, you really know a lot more about the race itself watching it on tv. Of course, the last couple of years we've had the tv on at the race...sureal for sure. See you there next year!
