Viper-esq front end, Nissan Z rear end - Target segment: Mazda MX5 Miata.

Interesting. I recall BMW saying the MX-5 consumer was a target of the 1 or 2 series supposedly coming to our shores. They might be late to the party if they wait any longer.

 

Looks like the b@srtard child of an S2000, MX5, 350Z and a Viper !

I quite like many aspects of it - assuming they give it a fun motor and precise handling, I would consider one as an MR2 replacement......

 

I like it - hope Dodge builds it.

 

LOL Yeah, much of my thoughts. Lights reminided me of both S2k, and Lambo Gallardo... back wheel-well also looks lambo-like (arch-cut).

Something in one of the lines (front-quarter arch - back) aspects remind me of a gull-wing mercedes, '59 Vette coup, and the current BMW Z4 roadster.

 

I agree with the Z4 comparison. Looks a lot like a Z4 to me.

 

bo-ring... it just looks like a conglomeration of other cars, it has no soul of its own. Z4, Crossfire, TT, S2000, and the Dodge grille reminds me more of Jaguar.

 

Actually, DCX wants to target the successful GM roadsters (Solstice and Sky) with the new Dodge Demon.

 

Poor little car. They took what's probably a perfectly good chassis, covered it with an adhesive and rolled it all the way through the TwentyFirstCenturyPerformanceCarCliche catalog. Damn shame.

 

rather have a solstice GXP...alot more power and smoother lines.

It dosent look as bad as the caliber, but if they throw the SRT4 engine in it, it will be a pocket rocket. I would own one if the horses were in the 300 range.

 

I like it, and its looks very production ready. Check out that interior! I'd be shocked if they don't build it.
